Eating salad is always a healthy choice, be it with your meals or just by
themselves. As Indians, we normally have cucumber, tomatoes, onions, vegetables
leaves and sprouts with our everyday food. Sprouting is a simple practice of
germinating seeds. It comes up with a bowl of wonderful, tasty and healthy bowl
of salad if we add some ingredients in the sprouts.
In order to encourage healthy eating habits sprouts chat salad activity was
conducted in STD V. The students brought sprouts, chopped onion, cucumber,
tomatoes. The children prepared sprout chat salad by mixing all the ingredients and
sprinkling chat masala on it. They all enjoyed the preparation and relished it
altogether.
